While speaking to a few of our countries proud veterans I was in formed that after the war only a handful of this planes survived. They were sold to anyone who wanted them for $350.00 due to the new and improved Jet that put these prop planes out of commission. Only 11 are know to have survived and it was a great joy to see such an important part of our history on display for the public to enjoy in North Andover.
